MGM Resorts International, together with technology partner Playtech, has expanded its Live from Vegas portfolio by launching Family Feud, the first-ever interactive game show streamed directly from a Las Vegas casino floor.
The licensed adaptation of Fremantle’s iconic show is broadcast in real time from a purpose-built studio inside the MGM Grand.
This is the second stage of the MGM–Playtech collaboration, following the successful rollout of Live from Vegas in June 2024, which featured live dealer table games streamed from both MGM Grand and Bellagio.
The glass-walled studio operates around the clock, fully visible to casino visitors, and continues to host interactive classics like blackjack, roulette, and baccarat, now joined by the new game show format.
The complete suite of live-streamed content is offered to operators across regulated markets outside the US.
Gary Fritz, President of MGM Resorts International Interactive, mentioned:
MGM Resorts, with Playtech and Fremantle, is at the forefront of digital gaming, bringing the iconic Las Vegas experience to people around the globe.
The live dealer studio marks a major step in our growth strategy and pursuit of being the world’s premier gaming entertainment company. We will continue working to create unforgettable moments and new ways to enjoy what the Las Vegas Strip has to offer.
Mor Weizer, Playtech CEO, added:
We’re proud to unveil our full suite of live-streamed experiences from Las Vegas, now featuring Family Feud. This next phase of our collaboration with MGM Resorts and Fremantle represents our shared ambition to redefine live gaming entertainment.
Together, we’re introducing a new category of immersive and engaging content to support growth in regulated markets, built on a foundation of robust compliance and player protection.
Fremantle COO Suzanne Lopez highlighted that this launch represents the first time Family Feud has been adapted into a live dealer format, incorporating authentic survey questions from the original franchise.
MGM Resorts and Playtech also confirmed that additional innovations are in the pipeline, with more unique entertainment experiences to be introduced as the collaboration grows.
The rollout comes amid MGM Resorts’ wider strategic push under CEO Bill Hornbuckle, whose leadership has been extended through 2028.
