Cyber attacks are a growing concern in the gambling industry. One of the most prominent cases of this occurred in 2023 when hackers infiltrated the systems of Caesars and MGM. MGM had to shut down its casino floors, and guests couldn’t access their hotel rooms. In contrast, Caesars paid off the hackers millions of dollars to avoid such issues.
