SIS (Sports Information Services), the leading multi-content provider of 24/7 live betting services, has been awarded the prestigious Princess Royal Training Award in recognition of its LEADERship Programme.
The programme, which has been running for the last five years in collaboration with training consultancy firm, Co-Creation, was recognised by the award’s creators the City & Guilds Foundation, alongside HRH The Princess Royal following a rigorous application process. The recipients announced last Friday (15th August), on Her Royal Highness’ 75th birthday, will be presented with their award at a ceremony later this year.
As a company with a rich heritage of providing a best-in-class service to its partners, SIS invests in a comprehensive range of skills development activities for delegates across the 12-month LEADERship programme.
Through Co-Creation’s master classes, the LEADERship programme works with individuals, equipping them with the necessary skills to take their next step within the company.
Confidence building, delegation, presenting, and the encouragement of cross-department engagement are areas the programme focuses on, with its implementation having a significant impact on employees who continue to rise through the SIS ranks.
Launched in 2016 by the City & Guilds foundation, the Princess Royal Training Awards rewards and celebrates organisations who have created outstanding training programmes that have led to exceptional company results.
Gail Haworth, Head of HR Business Partnering at SIS, said:
Over the last five years, our graduates from the Programme have continued to progress impressively, taking on more responsibilities and genuine leadership roles throughout the business. With that in mind, it’s a great honour to accept the Princess Royal Training Award, in this special tenth anniversary award year, which underscores our commitment to creating high quality training initiatives and a culture of learning that empowers individuals to thrive.
